Taught by studio potter Ranjit Dhaliwal from Studio Ranj, you'll learn how to use the 'kintsugi' technique of ceramic repair.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramic by mending with a mixture of resin and gold-coloured powder which hardens to accentuate breaks and chips, breathing new life into a piece which would be otherwise destined for the bin.
This course is perfect for anyone looking to repair much-loved pieces from their collection or upcycle a junk shop find.
By the end of this course, you'll be on your way to mastering this tricky but addictive and rewarding technique which changes your perspective on ceramics.
For this course you just need some broken pottery (or an unwanted pot to break) and you do not need a kiln.
Register your interest for this course and we'll let you know when it's available.
