How is this terrarium course taught?

This course is taught through step-by-step instructions and photography as provided by terrariums expert Emma Sibley of London Terrariums, available to access online via My Courses

What else do I need?

Materials:

  • 1 Fittonia Albivenis plant and one other plant (usually ivy or fern)
  • Moss
  • 25g activated charcoal
  • Handmade cork stick
  • Handmade sponge brush (approx 30cm)
  • Funnel (to be made from your plant pot)

Plus, you’ll need these common household items:

  • 2 litre Clip top jar (e.g. Kilner jar with the rubber seal removed from the lid)
  • Extra long tweezers (you can substitute with a skewer or chop sticks)
  • Compost
  • Garden gravel
  • Teaspoon
  • Green gardening stick (support stick)
  • Water spray bottle
  • Water
  • Kitchen roll or toilet roll
  • Scissors

Alternatively, purchase a kit and have everything you need to start making your terrarium delivered to your door.
