Materials:
- Demijohn vessel & cork (4.5 - 5 litres)
- Selection of moisture loving houseplants (e.g. Begonias, Baby’s tears, button fern, Fittonia, Ivy, Miniature Palm, Calathea, miniature Boston Fern)
- Compost Tub and Basket (Compost or houseplant compost, about 1.5 Litres)
- Carpet moss (as much as you wish for the surface of your terrarium)
- Small stones (ideally washed) Garden Gravel
- Activated charcoal (2 heaped teaspoons, found in health food stores)
- Funnel (can be made from half a broken plant pot)
- Teaspoon
- Garden stick
- Water spray bottle
- Water
- Radiator brush and sponge brushes
- Cork at the end of a stick (for patting down the soil)
- Long tweezers
- Kitchen roll
- Scissors (regular household scissors)
