Weave a paper band vessel kit and online tutorial

I really enjoyed learning how to weave a simple basket using paper band strips, raffia and string. The course was well organised and Julia was very approachable and friendly. She demonstrated the technique clearly and answered questions with patience and good humour. The kit had everything needed to make the basket including a useful diagram of the technique. It was great to chat with other people on the course and was a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. I now feel inspired to investigate other weaving tecniques and hope to do more Yodomo courses soon.

Paper Band Vessel Tutorial (Yodomo & Julia Clarke)

The kit provided was of a very high quality, and included a variety of colours and materials to make the paper band vessel. Sophie from Yodomo was really helpful both prior to and during the virtual lesson, and on the day made sure that everything ran smoothly. Julia provided helpful written and verbal instructions and was very patient. I enjoyed a lovely afternoon, with a group of kind, creative women which cheered me up no end :) I would definitely recommend this tutorial and Yodomo and will be signing up for further craft tutorials with them.
