Back to Nature Pants Kit is the only way to make completely microplastic free underwear so join us in the pants revolution
Did you know that most underwear is 36% plastic even if it is made from organic cotton, and every time you wash this underwear you release tiny microplastics into the water systems that affect our oceans and water life? You can switch to natural knickers and learn a new skill at the same time with this amazing kit.
Learn how to create a beautiful pair of Environmentally Regenerative and (dare we say it) sexy knickers. micro-plastic free, non-toxic underwear is definitely the future and we want you to feel the joy of making it yourself.
Alongside making your knickers you will also get to dye silk using the natural dye method of eco-printing. Simple, effective and no two pieces are the same. Fill your underwear drawer with organic colour and amaze yourself with the beauty of the natural world. In ayurvedic medicine natural dyes are promoted to help your body restore itself. Your skin is the largest organ of your body so what it touches it will absorb. Isn't it time to make that natural? This Kit and Class is unique as you will get to dye some silk yourself and then make a pair of pants with pre-dyed silk. At the end of the 3-hour class, you will have one pair of pants made and all the parts to make a second pair either at home or another time with access to the sewing machines at Make Town.
The class will be held on Saturday 22nd January and limited to 6 participants. Debbie from Cordwainers Dye will take you through the dyeing process and Alice from Little Black Pants Club with show you how to make your Back to Nature pants. We will also make sure you are fed and watered as creating is hard work.
The Class willl be held at Make Town, 2a Chatham, London E9 6LL - Class date 22nd January 2022
