In easy-to-follow photographic steps, Emma Sibley from London Terrariums shows you how to get started and make your own Tinyjar terrarium.

The course will take you through the history and science that goes into building a terrarium, from the different plants you can use and the layers of planting to the importance of activated charcoal, and how to care for your terrarium to keep it alive.

By the end of the course, you will have your own tiny garden to watch grow and develop over the coming months and years.

Buy the course for just £14.99 or purchase the course with a kit for £74.99 (including FREE UK shipping) which includes the tinyjar vessel, plants and specially designed tools.

The kit contains:

- Tinyjar vessel & cork

- Compost

- 1 Fittonia Albivenis plant and one other plant (usually ivy or fern)

- Moss

- 25g activated charcoal

- Extra long tweezers

- Handmade cork stick

- Handmade sponge brush (approx 30cm)

The sponge brush comes in handy to clean up the glass before and after adding stones and compost, as well as brushing those pesky compost crumbs from the leaves of your plants to get your terrarium looking lovely.

The tweezers make it easy for you to delicately insert your plants into the compost and the cork stick is for damping down the soil.

The activated charcoal is enough for multiple terrariums and you can reuse the tools for future projects.

This kit comes with FREE standard shipping to the UK (worldwide postage charges apply).

Emma says, "Fundamentally, it's not only about creating aesthetically beautifully objects. For us it is the deeper fascination with how plants behave and the exciting part terrariums play in the history of horticulture."
