Learn the art of leather craft and make your own leather card case and key fob with Carréducker.
Leather is one of the oldest materials known to man and one of the most satisfying to work with when the leather is sustainably sourced and naturally tanned.
As master shoemakers, Deborah and James of Carreducker, have over 20 years of experience working with leather, particularly natural oak bark and vegetable-tanned leathers. They’ve been developing courses and teaching handsewn shoemaking to enthusiasts from all over the world for almost their entire leather crafting career.
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to make an Italian vegetable tanned leather card case with three pockets and a versatile key fob using specialist leather craft tools and techniques including saddle stitch. You will gain the skills and confidence to continue working in leather at home.
This workshop is part of We Are All Makers with Yodomo and Design District, as part of London Craft Week.
Included in the price is all-day access to Bureau co-working space at Design District.
