How we work

How we work

Intercept. Reimagine. Keep materials in circulation.

Yodomo helps businesses intercept waste before it happens — and reimagine surplus materials through design, innovation and practical reuse systems.

We work on a paid, project-based basis with businesses, partners and initiatives to identify reusable materials, redesign waste streams and develop real-world solutions to industry waste challenges.

Intercept

Intercepting waste before it happens

Our starting point is prevention. We work directly with businesses to identify where usable materials arise — from offcuts and deadstock to samples, rejects and end-of-line products — and intercept them before they become waste.

  • Identify reusable materials within existing operations
  • Design simple, workable systems for separation, storage and handling
  • Reduce disposal costs while keeping materials in circulation
Reimagine

Reimagining waste through design and innovation

Beyond interception, we work creatively and technically to reimagine what waste can become — combining design, experimentation and collaboration.

  • Explore reuse using emerging tools, including textile identification
  • Prototype new products and material applications with partners
  • Test ideas — from thermal products made from scraps to new second-life pathways
Redistribute

Keeping materials in circulation

Once materials are intercepted or redesigned, we create practical routes for them to stay in use — ensuring they’re actively reused rather than stockpiled or discarded.

  • Redistribute through open-access events
  • Route materials through creative reuse hubs and maker networks
  • Make circularity visible, practical and accessible
Partner

Partnership-led innovation

Many of the most effective solutions emerge through collaboration. We work in partnership with organisations, initiatives and local authorities to pilot new approaches, test ideas and share learning across sectors.

  • Trial innovative circular models with trusted partners
  • Reduce risk through shared experimentation
  • Contribute to wider systems change
