Unlocking surplus materials
We work with businesses to identify reusable material streams — including textiles, offcuts and deadstock — that would otherwise be wasted.
Material redistribution
We bring surplus materials back into use through open-access events and creative reuse hubs — extending the life of materials and supporting a thriving creative economy.
Across the UK, large volumes of high-quality materials are discarded each year due to overproduction, discontinued lines or inefficient systems. At the same time, artists, makers and craftspeople struggle to access affordable materials. Yodomo exists to bridge this gap.
We work with businesses to identify reusable material streams — including textiles, offcuts and deadstock — that would otherwise be wasted.
Materials are sorted and organised so they can be safely and efficiently redistributed and ready for creative use.
We host regular public events where makers, artists and designers can access materials directly.
Materials are also distributed through reuse hubs and pop-ups, embedding circular practice in local communities.
Affordable access to materials enables experimentation, livelihoods and creative production.
Each redistribution generates insight that helps improve reuse systems and reduce waste upstream.
Materials stay in circulation for longer. Waste is reduced. Creative communities are resourced.
We believe waste is a design flaw — and that public access, creativity and community are powerful tools for fixing it.
