Art in the Park Festival Roundup
This year, Art in the Park Festival in Leamington Spa saw over 45,000 of artists, performers and visitors come together to indulge in creativity.
Art in the Park is a unique yearly festival celebrating the creative talents of Warwickshire and the Midlands, taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Jephson Gardens. This year, thanks to the support from Arts Council England, Yodomo instructors provided free live demonstrations and workshops that gave participants hands-on opportunities to learn new creative skills.
In the Yodomo tent, inspiration was buzzing as visitors gathered to try their hands at a variety of crafts and techniques. The events organised by Yodomo provided visitors with an unforgettable experience of accomplishment and each participant took home their new creations.
The demos and workshops included Modern Embroidery with Rebeckah Kemi Apara, Bookbinding with Kate Rochester, making "Kalinka" Polish Pom-poms with Karolina Merska and Charcoal Drawing with Richard Rochester.
We received wonderful feedback from workshop participants:
"Thank you for the great day we had. The book binding was very successful and our young grandson is thrilled with his notebook. Eva and I loved the pom pom making and planning decorations for her bedroom. Well done for providing such a great creative experience."
