Corporate Wellbeing during Mental Health Awareness Month
Creative workshops for teams which connect the "heart, head and hand."
With making linked to increased creativity, productivity, memory, focus and mood, Yodomo marked Mental Health Awareness Month by bringing wellbeing into workplaces through bespoke creative activities.
The process of making connects the "heart, head and hand" - a balance which can offer to us a greater sense of purpose and fulfilment. This reflection by esteemed British ceramicist Bernard Leach still rings true today, with the positive correlation between craft and wellbeing supported by recent research from the Crafts Council.
During Mental Health Awareness Month, Yodomo worked with TicketMaster and Innocent to facilitate bespoke workshops by Yodomo instructors. Teams engaged with creative activities and hands-on learning, gaining new experiences which welcomed a sense of enjoyment, stimulation and collaboration.
